Mike Ward - Managing Director / Broker / Valuer

 A Marine Broker since 1995, Mike started Nautilus Marine in February 1999. On retirement from the Royal New Zealand Air Force in 1993 after reaching the rank of Squadron Leader, Mike spent some time as the Manager of the Auckland Hospital Emergency Department before getting into brokerage. Mike is still actively involved in yacht racing at the Clearwater Cove Yacht Club although not as often as he would like. He remains a member of Wellington's Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club for which he acts as Auckland Port Captain.
A past chairperson of the MIA Marine Brokers Group, Mike also served on the MIA Executive Committee and the MIA Boat Show Policy and Publicity Committees. Mike is a Boating Industries Training Organisation (BITO) trainer and assessor for the new Marine Brokers qualification (National Certificate in Marine Sales & Services, Boat Sales & Brokerage), a qualification he also holds.

The name Les Nichols is one of the most recognised names in the marine industry. Les has been around brokerage for many years and is well recognised by his peers. He is also well know in fishing circles for his game fishing exploits. Les has been a member of the Laurie Collins team for many years.
